Here is where I dump my worries about Bucky because he literally has no personality in the MCU:
All of Bucky Barnes’ points of major character development happen during post credits scenes. If someone didn’t stay after the credits for almost every movie he is in, there would literally be no lineage for his behavior.

Yeah, most people would say they knew Jamie Dornan could sing from those Grey movies, but I am proud to share my only prior exposure to his singing and acting abilities is from Barb and Starr Go to Vista Del Mar.
Anyways this was very sweet and a very worthy addition to the catalogue of films featuring a charming young boy who has an endearing relationship with his Grandparents.
This lacked a crucial self awareness that made the depiction of Larson appear more self indulgent than anything else.
When a musical genius makes a movie about another musical genius, the cynicism one might get from something like All That Jazz is left out in favor of glorifying a person who is honestly extremely narcissistic and not that great of a friend or ally.
The music and performances in this were really wonderful though! A lot of special moments and cameos abound that thoroughly boost enjoyment.
