Just an add-on review to mention a few more things:
The story of Miles had a lot of heart. Quality plot twists and good character development.
Some scenes are just BEYOND awesome. With the music, the actions, and what's happening in the story. It all adds to one of those moments in film where you're like "Whoa...".
You know those moments in movies?
The ending of The Shawshank Redemption? The "I've abondoned my child" scene in There Will Be Blood? That heartbreaking scene in The Lion King and another in The Iron Giant?
You know those moments. This movie had a few.
The comedy was hilarious at times, and pretty funny the rest of it. It was great. It worked masterfully.
Also, the animation was awesome once again. So different from everything else. It looked like a comic book coming to life. It really did. So great.
Well, that's it for now. Guess I could've written this in my original review comments section? I don't know. I was half asleep when I wrote the original review so I felt I need to say something more.
Just go watch this movie!
