Stephen Sondheim, the man, died today, at the age of 91.

Stephen Sondheim, the artist, the writer, the composer, is still very much alive. As the endless tributes to him pour out, it becomes so very clear the broad, broad influence and impact this man has had to the world of musical theatre and those who love it.

    Toy Story 4

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

I don't understand the existence of this movie. Not just the creation of it in spite of an already complete trilogy, but every factor in this movie just doesn't make sense. Jacques Tati's quiet, visual style of comedy is something I can look at and see that there is something resembling humor on my screen, but it never makes me laugh. I just find myself waiting for the film to be over. I'm not here saying that Tati himself is not funny at all, it's just his style of humor is not for me.

I used to like Teresa Wright, but I've really realized that she's not really a good actress....

Anyway the rest of this movie is quite good, probably the best of the Best Years of Our Lives rip-offs that followed WWII, depicting wounded soldiers returning from the war having to live with their new disabilities.
