JackFoster’s review published on Letterboxd:
The ideal way to absorb this film is to fall asleep after a particularly lively halloween, on the couch, and awaken a few hours later at some unspecified time of night to find this playing on the television at a low volume. When you went to sleep you could still here others celebrating but now its only this. Chills baby! Wtf!
Very old horror movies, much more so than most other very old movies tend to increase in value the further removed we are from when they were made. The sort of primitive (in a good way!) technology used to make them and the archaic era they present take on a very surreal other worldy quality when watched now. The atmosphere becomes just that more potent all these decades later. Its really really cool
