  Hamaguchi’s smooth and calming direction drives this masterpiece with such skill that you forget you have been sat down for 3h straight or that you’re even inside movie theater at all. 
  But don’t worry: your back won’t let you forget it.

  (Of course: a shout out for Renmei Izuta and Miki Nomura’s glorious work.)
