This movie is a phenomenal experience in terror, mainly due to the great performance's and well crafted story. It built up a suspenseful atmosphere with it's interpretation of a witch cult, gruesome death scenes an amazing score and shocking imagery throughout. The plot really plays with your mind as you try to pick up the clues along the way and try to figure out what’s going on and what gives this film a great depth is the pain and suffering of a traumatized family dealing with their loss and trying to repaire there fractured relationship which gives us an intriguing story to follow and makes us care for this family. Ari Aster really delves into the horror genre with his intense and crazy vision that is very refreshing and not reliant on jump scares.
