A very well made adaption of the musical, visually beautifully cinematography with its grim dark tone that reflects the rage and depression of its story. Well acted and well sung, the songs are all well written and choreographed. This film is a enjoyable experience of memorable songs, gory and violence deaths and a dark tale of cannibalism but layered with some comedic tones all make this a thrilling and fun time. Tim Burton manages to capture this story and bring it to life with his quirk and bizarre style of film making.
