Jack Salvadori’s review published on Letterboxd:
The Directors’ Fortnight opened with Between Two Worlds, a predictable, grim, modern French take on Sturges’ Sullivan’s Travels, starring Juliette Binoche as a “rich” writer pretending to merge among the “poor” taking the humblest jobs. Yet, it’s not a comedy. The more the film tried to commiserate with the unprivileged, the more it failed in its purpose, creating a bigger gap of hypocrisy.
