Drags more than I was hoping it would despite feeling like it was set at 1.5 speed the entire movie. This’d be at least a full star rating higher if it was shorter. Very fun movie overall though. My two other options were Opening Night and Come and See, and I think I made the right choice.
Less a comedy special and more a personal look into Bo’s psyche and thoughts on the ethics of comedy in the face of unimaginable tragedy. This is gonna frustrate a lot of people for being bloated and not especially funny given how uncomfortable this past year has been for a lot of people (including Bo), but it’s also going to excite an equal amount of people because of how boundary pushing it is for the medium of the stand up…
