I have witnessed this movie for the first time today and now I understand so many memes and their origins. A kino.
Back from the dead of my review writing to deliver my brand new edit: "Annabelle: Epilogue"! Basically, it's the first Annabelle movie, but now it's an epilogue for Annabelle: Creation.
David F. Sandberg's Annabelle: Creation (this film) just released last Friday, and many people want/wanted to know whether or not they should watch the first Annabelle. Many people answered with no, as the film got critically panned upon release, and is generally not discussed by audiences. But then…

James Gunn is the absolute madman, delivering a more comedic, emotional, and character-focused film, as compared to the previous installment in the Guardians movies.
Almost all of the comedy works, the new characters are great, villains are actually not terrible (looking at you Malekith), and the feels hit hard this time. Plus another great soundtrack via Awesome Mix Vol 2! (Don't even forget all 5 after credit scenes, they're all really fun!)…

Perfect movie for my birthday!!
So, I think it's officially time to define this franchise as the amalgamation of the superhero, video game, and action movie genres. It's as if Marvel Studios, Just Cause and a live action Grand Theft Auto were all were thrown into a blender, with a heavy helping of family.
8 movies in, and it's still going quite strong. I highly doubt they'll stop at…
"It was all going so well..." -Hugh and Miranda
A pretty tense and frightening space thriller! Can't really say too much without spoiling it, but I had an entertaining time at the movies with my second film in the triple feature. Definitely one of the more interesting 3rd acts as well,

Disclaimer: I am not a "fan" of the Power Rangers, or any iteration of it. I watched it as much as Dragon Ball, which is to say, very little. But, I did play with the toys, and know enough about the lore to take a trip to the theater to see this movie.
My expectations were not very high, but that helped it a lot…
"It's hero time!" -Gaston
I didn't think I remembered a lot of the moments or songs from the original movie, since I saw it as a young lad. But soon memories and chills rushed over my body, and the untapped feels were mined several times throughout the film, notably the iconic ballroom scene. Amazing!
The main reason I got interested in this in the first place, was Dan Stevens as The Beast. And he did not disappoint. Now a breakout…
"So... this is what it feels like." -Logan
Just... Wow... What a film. Tears welled up in my eyes, and that doesn't happen often when I watch movies. Such a heartbreaking experience, yet an equally lovingly crafted work of art. James Mangold was able to transcend the "comic book film" into an emotional masterpiece. I think we all have to thank Mangold, Stewart, Keen and of course Jackman (both of them). I'm so happy that Hugh's Wolverine was able to…
"Oh, I've only lived here 28 years. What do I know?" -Hank Marlow
Sensational continuation of the now living and breathing Kaiju Cinematic Universe! Definitely the film to see in IMAX 3D, as I did, because it's quite worth it! Just like Doctor Strange was worth the price of the extra ticket, so is Kong: Skull Island!
This movie only confirms that Warner Bros has not one, but two, cinematic universes that are better than the DCEU. LCU and KCU…
"I mean... I told you not to go in that house..."
Advanced screening to one of the best directorial debuts in a long time.
Jordan Peele's "Get Out" had the right balance of mystery, suspense and comedy. And its runtime was at the sweet spot of 1 hour and 45 minutes. I was really impressed with how thrilling it was, but was also able to switch gears and make you laugh. Peele really gets both genres of comedy…
