    Thor

    ★★½

    GRADE: C

It has some fun moments, and the acting talent is fantastic, but Thor is very disposable and clichéd origin story that lacks any real creativity or personality. While not terrible, it's not one of the MCU's best films. But the worst parts of the movie for me was the obnoxious overuse of dutch angles, and Chris Hemsworth's horrendous blonde eyebrows.

  • Top Gun: Maverick

    Top Gun: Maverick

    ★★★★½

    GRADE: A

Top Gun: Maverick is the long-waited sequel that outshines its predecessor in wildly entertaining style -- with adrenaline-infused, edge-of-your-seat action sequences, and a suprisingly realistic and emotionally captivating storyline that enriches the spirit. This is one of those rare blockbusters that you don't see as much anymore, and one that needs to be seen on the big screen.

    GRADE: A+

This movie was INCREDIBLE!!! Everything I wanted and more! Spider-Man: No Way Home not only meets those grand standards it boldly aims for, and gives us the fan service that we've come to expect, it swings over them in style and delivers the most ambitious Spider-Man film yet that raises the scope and stakes, while also managing to develop Peter Parker's character, and give him an arc that's both emotional and extremely satisfying. Easily my favorite MCU Spidey film, and one of the greatest entries in the MCU.

    A Quiet Place Part II

    ★★★★

    GRADE: A-

One of the better horror sequels I've ever seen. Exactly the kind of movie I wanted it to be. A Quiet Place Part II is a heart pumping continuation of its predecessor that expands the terrifying world of the franchise without losing track of its heart -- with edge-of-your-seat suspense, satisfying character work, and John Krasinski's masterful direction. This movie was so worth seeing on the big screen!
