Such a good movie. Butler is truly amazing, he honestly really does disappear into the role and it’s awesome to see (HANKS IS GOOD TOO DON’T LET ANYONE SAY OTHERWISE! WHATEVER HE’S DOING RULES). Most impressive here is that the movie feels genuinely tragic in a way that these movies rarely if ever succeed in feeling.
It was alright but I felt very little during most of it. Willem Dafoe is just the best there is huh. Tom Holland gives his best performance as Spider-Man yet. Michael Giacchino’s score is quite good. The last 20 minutes are honestly great and really mature, the future of the mcu Spider-Man is surprisingly bright.
