The Player 1992
One of my favorite parts— of which there are many— is when Griffin walks on the lawn and looks into the window of his supposed stalker while talking to her over the phone… technically very creepy and borderline psychotic.

Blade Runner 1982
I can think of worse ways to die than with my face between Daryl Hannah’s legs.
Was going to be a 4.5 but, after doing my own research, all the science checks out… so 5. -

Boogie Nights 1997
If you only watch the first half you’re missing out! Not on a nekked heather Graham but a very good, very cautionary film

20th Century Women 2016
I’ve seen this like 5 times and I never rewatch movies… It’s a masterpiece (term used ironically). Mike Mills is to movies what Hank Hill is to propane and propane accessories; what Roger Goodell is to boo’s; what Prince is to purple; what porn is to porn; what fences are to neighbors, etc.

The Big Lebowski 1998
I guess this viewing was done with a drinking game… the only aspect I understood of the game was I should drink when I’m told to. Yes, I’m around 35 or so.

Nomadland 2020
“I only know what they tell me” is the greatest line I’ve heard in a movie all year and has been rattling in my brain for months.
I’ve watched this twice and haven’t written a review because I didn’t want to build up any preconceived notions for anyone who hasn’t seen it. But, at this point, I have to log it— I have to!

Godless 2017
That is how it’s done. That’s how you end a series! This show was so incredibly well written and acted and shot— you actually can feel for every character; even the bad guys. The only possible reason someone might not like it is because it’s a western and it doesn’t force it’s build-up on the viewer, which will possibly not be taken well by the impatient.

Minari 2020
Easily one of the best viewing experiences I have ever had. It’s impossible not to be with that family mentally— not sure if that’s because of the organic nature of everything or maybe the acting? Most movies ppl can open up with words, and other movies can’t be “can-opened” — and this is the latter. It’s very Kore-eda in that it’s about everything... not a single aspect of the movie experience is missed. How do they do that? It can’t…

20th Century Women 2016
“Was there anything you liked about him?” Annette Benning, “he was left handed?...”
Something about Annette Benning is interesting and comforting— that, and she’s very funny— I would for sure want to drink beer or wine with her every night like Billy Crudup. Speaking of Billy, how’s he get so many chicks to throw themselves at him in this? Sure, he’s nice enough but shit... Pretty much everyone in this is very lovable and it’s easy to empathize with them;…

The Godfather 1972
Taken from IMDB:
There was a great deal of mooning on-set, started by James Caan and Robert Duvall. In an effort to break some tension during a rehearsal for the first scene, the pair mooned Francis Ford Coppola, Marlon Brando, and Salvatore Corsitto. Caan told TIME Magazine, "My best moon was on Second Avenue. Bob Duvall and I were in one car and Brando was in another, so we drove up beside him and I pulled down my pants and…
