Quite enjoyed this. Telling a story other than Peter Parker's was pretty much the only way to keep yet another Spider-Man story feeling fresh.
Everything is mostly compelling and the film allows for several slower and more touching moments to drive the emotional maturity of this film. Really the only nit-pick I have is that we spend a very long time in the backstory/I don't know how to control my powers plot line, and then after a few words he just figures out how to beat up Kingpin on a dime.
The voice cast is incredible and the animation and feel of the whole film is up there with the best i've seen in an Animated feature. It hs the same touches a Scot Pilgrim does, but can take them even farther due to being animated. This really does feel like a comic book.
