Such a brilliant film! Im over the moon Brie Larson won best actress for this. She well and truly deserved it. The boy playing Jack was also outstanding and incredibly believable. I really enjoyed the breakdown of the relationships in this film. It allowed us to observe a families coping strategies once their abducted child is finally returned to them after years of living in the dark. It made me realise that sometimes it's not always the happy ending you'd expect but instead just as much pain and confusion as when they were first kidnapped. There's magical moments, beautiful moments and lots of tear jerk moments. All in all a very heart wariming and eye opening experience.
