A “whodunnit” that lets the audience in on the crime about 30 minutes into the film, only to reveal more twists than a Chubby Checker song. Which reminds me, this movie has great music.
Ana de Armas is adorable in the central role—yep, she is undoubtably the star of the movie, which was a surprise given the trailers and marketing. She should be in every movie.
While it was cool to see a modern mystery film, a more “timeless” approach would’ve been appreciated. This movie had more references to Google and current politics than a podcast no one listens to (just pick one, any one).
