Dane Ray’s review published on Letterboxd:
More of the same, but this time around it’s at least a little more believable. Kind of wish they had a 1-2 year time jump instead of taking place 1-2 days after the original. It is clear the young actors have aged and I think it would’ve been more interesting to see how they were coping a couple years after the events of the first movie.
The directing and editing gets a big upgrade; the timing and splicing back and forth of some scenes is perfection. Speaking of perfection, Cillian Murphy.
