Could have done without so much of those jokes that pertain to Internet memes because they all come off as incredibly dated, though there's a certain charm to the cringe that ultimately made it work for me. If anything, that's certainly a feeling to be shared when you're still living with your parents and they feel out of touch from what's going on in your life or what you'd want most out of your life. Plus, Abbi Jacobson and Danny McBride absolutely kill it in their voice roles.
But above all, it's maybe the best-looking animated film of the year by far. By the standards of Sony Pictures Animation, it's certainly no Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, but it's pretty astounding to see how they've grown from their early days when you're watching The Mitchells vs. The Machines.
