It’s scary how brilliant The Invisible Man is. It continues to outsmart you, but is also a thrilling and dominant horror film. Elisabeth Moss is phenomenal, Oliver Jackson-Cohen is terrific & director Leigh Whannell demonstrates once again why he’s a name to be reckoned with. Everyone, of age, should rush out to see this film.
Onward is truly magical. Yeah yeah, I said it. While you may think it’s about one aspect of family, it turns out to be something even more as the story unfolds and boy does it bring all the feels.
With absolutely phenomenal visuals, heartfelt storytelling that will have you laughing, crying and smiling, plus the perfect voices to bring these characters to life, Onward is everything you love about Pixar and more.
Ford v Ferrari is the most exhilarating film of the year. Not only does it keep you on the edge of your seat the entire time, but it makes you feel like you’re behind the wheel the entire time. James Mangold has yet again delivered an absolute thrill ride.
I also can’t go without mentioning the powerhouse performances from Matt Damon and Christian Bale. Wow. Both incredible from start to finish, especially together. This film deserves all kinds of recognition. One of 2019s best, if not the best.
