Jake Hageman’s review published on Letterboxd:
When I first watched this about a year and a half ago, it couldn’t have come at a better time. I was going through a lot. I had just gone through a breakup, I had just started college, and I was feeling lost. Llewyn Davis showed me that I wasn’t alone and that everyone feels lost to an extent. It was an extremely cathartic experience for me.
Rewatching it today just reminded me why this movie is so great. Why it is so important to me. Upon rewatch, I was reminded how far I’ve come in this short time since I first watched it. It makes me grateful for the people that have come into my life.
If you’re in a place where you feel lost or stuck, I encourage you to watch this. I think you’ll find quite a bit to identify with here. Hopefully, it will be just as cathartic for you as it was for me.
