Like De Niro says in this YOU BLEW IT!

The overall plot of the film is good and all of the performances by its star studded cast are good if not above average. It's just the material itself is pretty dull and the films eventual climax is pretty weak.

    AMC Kips Bay - DCP

Alex Garland has only made bad movies so not sure what to have been expecting. The moments that replicated something like Robin Redbreast were decent but my god, flashbacks AND drawn out recap in dialogue? Wack. Also what the hell was this movie even about trauma? Grief? Who cares! I really hope the tide is turning for this 21st century horror going through the motions shit, I've certainly had enough.

Recycled footage and interviews tell Robbie's story. I am a huge fan of The Band and have been for as long as I can remember. I read Levon's book when I was a teenager and read Robbie's recent Testimony almost as soon as it hit shelves but the lack of a Garth Hudson interview and the fact that Rick Danko, Richard Manuel and Levon Helm are dead allows the filmmakers and Robbie to…
