nora’s review published on Letterboxd:
a group of my american peers and i wandered into a theater in prague to see if there was anything playing we were interested in (and with english subtitles). so we checked this out since it was playing as part of the iranian film festival!
this may be down to the extremely rough subtitling, but i was confused for like 90% of the runtime. it’s very cool conceptually—this crime is reenacted over and over again and it’s all in one long take—so i was disappointed that i was losing the threads of what was happening even within conversations. one of my friends fell asleep and didn’t even realize it.
at least film tickets in Kč are the equivalent of like $6 USD! i love prague
