Toxic masculinity which repeats in itself and the corruption of the beauty of nature through mankind’s own corruption. Really solid third film from Alex Garland, my favorite of his filmography thus far.

Sean Baker captures such a specific feel in his films… which is always gross… but lovable?

Weirdest goddamn movie I’ve seen in so long

This shit’s awesome and terrifying and so well made “oh it’s boring it’s slow” nope stop that it’s freaky as hell and awesome.

Ya know….. I’m pleasantly surprised! This film is consistently visually interesting, the sound design is always whacky and fun, and although it’s definitely still an MCU film, the direction from Raimi stands out as one of the most intentionally and well directed Marvel films out there.
