Toxic masculinity which repeats in itself and the corruption of the beauty of nature through mankind’s own corruption. Really solid third film from Alex Garland, my favorite of his filmography thus far.

Red Rocket 2021
Sean Baker captures such a specific feel in his films… which is always gross… but lovable?

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness 2022
Ya know….. I’m pleasantly surprised! This film is consistently visually interesting, the sound design is always whacky and fun, and although it’s definitely still an MCU film, the direction from Raimi stands out as one of the most intentionally and well directed Marvel films out there.

Everything Everywhere All at Once 2022
This is beautiful. Got me laughing and crying at the same time in the theater. Amazing

What's Eating Gilbert Grape 1993
Also solid! Without the stellar performances there isn’t toooo much to talk about, but it’s a competently made film otherwise. Young Leo kills it tho
