”The world is perfect. Appreciate the details”
Jarmusch bizarrely takes it upon himself to deconstruct and evaluate conventional horror. The Dead Don't Die is, in a nutshell, Jarmusch’s Shaun of the Dead. A fascinating deconstruction and meta observation of the horror genre. Plays weird and wild if not too much in both directions without a frame of restraint. I can see a massive backlash incoming but a positive future revaluation on the horizon for this absurdly enigmatic feature.
