"I'll take you to mom no matter what"
The Asian equivalent of World War Z, but what makes Train to Busan the far superior thriller is it's character depth and immersive and highly claustrophobic setting. The train itself is a terrifying prospect, it both gives shelter but houses the terrifying infected, ultimately never giving a stable sense of normality. Every moment they're on, I want them off and vice versa. A perfect plot device to install fear into both its audience and characters.
