Watching this with a crowd is so much fun!
I love watching the reactions of people who have no clue what they‘re in for. The reactions to the scene where she breaks her nose were especially entertaining - everyone flinched so hard. It was actually very funny. A communal experience.

Two people just walked out and never came back. The girl in front of us told her friends multiple times „I want to go home.“

    This film is certainly not…

I saw a Tiktok of a girl cancelling Licorice Pizza, because of the age difference. In the film a 15 year old boy has a crush on his 25 year old babysitter. She shows him his boobs once real quick.
Meanwhile this film exists, where a fourty-something ex-pornstar has an affair with a 17 year old girl and wants her to become a pornstar, too.
It was a great film tho, Sean Baker has a talent for making all of…

This is perfect! Even better on rewatch!
The first part „Everything“ is just incredible. So so funny, I was wheezing so hard. The hotdog-finger universe. The dildo fight. This entire film is so fucking funny and inventive and creative! Not to mention the butt-plug fight.
And Part 2 „Everywhere“ was pretty overwhelming the first time around, but now it made so much more sense to me and had so much more meaning.
THE ROCK SCENE! Oh my GOD!
    Yes, this…

I know most people don‘t like this movie… but I‘m not one of them. This is awesome and I won‘t shut up about it! It‘s like The Descent… but underwater. What‘s not to love?

The setting is awesome, the film looks great and the effects are actually pretty good. Just a lot of fun!

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

The first twenty minutes or so were way too fast and I was not into it at all. Then it got better.
The whole movie is pretty shallow. Wanda is just evil now I guess. There’s none of the nuance from Wandavision. The only emotional scene was in the end where Billy and Tommy are terrified of Wanda. That scene was pretty sad actually.

As for the multiverse: I was so underwhelmed. By the entire movie. They could have done…

That was amazing! I loved it, although I didn’t cry (like absolutely everyone on Tiktok it seems).
This is so incredibly innovative and creative. The energy is dialed up to 120% from start to finish, the pacing is absolutely insane and so is the editing! If this doesn’t win Best Editing, that’s a fucking snub.
It’s laugh out loud funny, and incredibly entertaining. Mostly action, which I didn’t really expect.
My favourite parts were the entire beginning portion, the rock…
