Blue Collar ★★★★

Starts out fairly loose and light-hearted, but ends in a place of crushing hopelessness and righteous anger....it's impressive how seamless the transition is, and both sides make for an equally great watch. Excellent writing from Schrader, with a powerful message that's sadly still as true as it ever was, and all three of the leads are awesome....Keitel's nailing it as always, Pryor handles both comedy and drama nicely, and Kotto is just fucking cool as shit. Really good film, and so bloody '70s.
