You can tell that production for this movie started almost 80 years ago. It has the surreal atmosphere and extreme creative liberties animation at that time, at the same time taking on a bold distinct from any animation pre WWII, and dare I say even now. Stop motion is my favorite way a movie can be visualized/stylized above all else, as long as the story, acting, and etc. are up to the challenge of bringing the animation to life. This movie is one of the definite examples of why. Wes Anderson yet again makes an amazing movie, taking heavily influence from his past work structurally, but still evolving and making the film distinct and a fun time to watch over and over.

I can't comprehend how a director at this time could possibly think of and exceute a vision this stylized and coesive. Maybe it's just coincidence due to the limits of the time, but I give it the benefit of the doubt, but then again the narrative is quite solid at a time where movies with a narrative were very new.

This movie also confirms that Apollo 11 was fake; so you're telling that for not ONE instance did Neil or Buzz see an incredibly disposable race of aliens anywhere? Yea sure.
