A decent, thorough summary of Ella Fitzgerald's life. In terms of technique, it's your standard mix of talking heads and archive footage, with a mix of narration and captions. This means it's not very interesting as a film, but you can't complain about a good opportunity to listen to Ella sing.

The Muppets Go to the Movies 1981
Essentially a top-tier double-length episode of the Muppet Show, which can't be sniffed at. The backstage celebrity interaction is somewhat missed, but a load of great sketches and songs instead. Not really "special", but better than many others.
