• Zack Snyder's Justice League

    Zack Snyder's Justice League

    ★★★★½

Essentially a 4 hour prologue and still the best superhero movie ever made with the only competition being other Snyder films.

  • Rebel Moon - Part One: A Child of Fire

Rebel Moon - Part One: A Child of Fire

    ★★★★

It’s on sight for anyone that shits on this but likes ANY Disney Star Wars.

  • Dream Scenario

    Dream Scenario

    ★★½

Promising at first but ends up both needlessly cruel and unsatisfying. Feels like a first draft. Grade A fart gag though.

  • Godzilla Minus One

    Godzilla Minus One

    ★★★★★

Not just the best Godzilla but easily the best war movie I’ve ever seen. Had to stop myself from loudly crying at the end. The Human Condition.

  • When Harry Met Sally...

Got married the other day, watched this with my wife on our honeymoon. It was her first time, she loved it.

  • Priscilla

    Priscilla

    ★★★½

To the cringe lord who clapped during the Nicole Kidman commercial and the two different girls that took a photo during the movie with the flash on, just know I fucking hate you all. Good movie tho.

  • Ferrari

    Ferrari

    ★★

I waited 8 years for a new Michael Mann movie and I hate it 😭

  • The Curse

    The Curse

    ★★★★★

If the first three episodes are any indicator, The Curse may end being the greatest show ever made. Unsurprisingly The Safdies and Nathan Fielder are the most perfect match I’ve ever seen.

  • Scary Movie

    Scary Movie

    ★★★½

Better than all the Scream sequels

  • The Beast

    The Beast

I kind of wanted to walk out during the first hour but then it turned into something MAJOR. Need to rewatch now having full context. Mulholland Drive comparisons are sort of accurate but the ending is one of the all time greatest and VERY Twin Peaks. Laura Palmer is that you?

  • Past Lives

    Past Lives

    ★★½

I saw other detractors call this sterile and I have to agree. Slow which could be fine but the build up feels lacking and so does the pay off. Immediately makes me think of Asako 1&2 which is definitely not the same and that is way more whimsical/dreamy, but it tackles some similar themes/concepts in a much better way. Anyways gonna go rewatch Asako 1&2 now.

  • Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse

    4.5/5 average rating yeah ok
