I don't know why I decided to watch this when I wasn't a big fan of the first one and I haven't seen the others but here we are. I think the scariest thing about this for me was the fact that the tall guy (Dale?) was supposed to be the comic relief.
This movie feels too glossy to be a found footage style movie and I understand that the one character is super into cameras so plot-wise it should make sense but I think they really just used it as an excuse to shoot this professionally vs actually being a bit creative with it. I have a lot of more specific gripes with this movie but maybe that's just me being too nitpicky?
I did like the lead character way more than I liked the ones in the first movie but honestly, anything is an upgrade from those two even Dale, so that's not exactly a compliment. I wasn't as bored during this one even if it felt overly predictable.
Idk... it wasn't as boring as the first one just meh. Honestly. I'm probably only giving this a higher rating than the first one because it doesn't have Meeka. Meesha? Mika? Micha? I don't care.
