Michael James’s review published on Letterboxd:
A moving character study about a drummer who loses his ability to listen. The protagonist’s world, his motivation, his search towards his inner peace was well written with beautiful use of silence. The performance from Ruiz Ahmed and the movie’s sound design were exceptional. The supporting cast is good, with a special mention to Paul Raci. The visual silence & its auditory experience is something you don’t come across in any film. Highly recommended Watch.
“The world does keep moving and it can be a damn cruel place but for me those moments of stillness, that place, that’s the kingdom of God.”
