A detailed and heartbreaking retelling of the events leading to Fred Hampton’s murder by the United States Government, Judas and the Black Messiah is a painful unveiling of the sins of this country towards African Americans.
It’s raw, real, in your face, unwavering, and really well executed.
The performances are absolutely spectacular, and Daniel Kaluuya deserved that Golden Globe win.
This story needed to be told and I hope more stories like this, that show the dark history of this country is put out more in the open.
Go for the story, but stay for the truth.
