Peak 2020s necrotic pop culture. Bland and dull color palette splotched with bright red, CGI animals and endless montages, and soundtrack that would make me in freshman year of high school cringe, when I still got a thrill reading Kurt Vonnegut in public. It's disturbing to see Disney emulate punk counterculture as it's been responsible for so much entertainment industry atrophy under big names. Emma Stone puts on a wavering British accent and tries to narrate like a Scorsese protagonist, though she ends up sounding more like Ryan Reynold's Deadpool in cadence and smarmy self-aware humor. So many things I don't like and very little I do like -- I even really liked the dress Cruella mocked.
Side note: I have access to a Disney Plus account and even so was expected to pay 29.99 to rent this movie. I did not end up doing this. Alexa, play "Feeling Good" by Nina Simone.
