This surprised the hell out of me. Carradine over Norris y'all. Also shoutout to Steve James. I really enjoyed watching the soldiers bond grow stronger as the film went on. It's not doing anything particularly special but it has some good ideas and even a couple decent shots throughout. I especially enjoyed the one where the camera is set in the vehicle showing all the soldiers watching a huge explosion go off in the background. An entertaining 90 minutes. And…
Some highlights are Chuck Norris rising in slow motion from the water with a soaking wet machine gun and when he smiles at the very end. I think it's the only time he shows emotion throughout the whole movie. Unfortunately, there isn't enough absurdity. I found most of it to be pretty dull. I've been spoiled by Rambo.
