Costner Waldau is a magnetic screen presence in this movie, he aged into the solid silent type drowning a world of pain into alcohol.

The movie has solid moment of tension and unease, as well as a couple of genuinely smart plot turns that make you hope for something better. The cast is overall quite strong.

The only thing that feels forced is the serial killer plot. The perpetrator is somewhat silly, I won't spill any beans, but I found that part of the movie pedestrian.

Watch for an atmosphere of dread and sadness.

A nice little mystery about mistaken identity or rather how identity can change when give the chance. Nothing much but just enough. Well played and pleasing.

Watch to find why Mrs Simpson died.

This French movie about one of the most famous prostitution rings in my memory is definitive proof that sex can be boring.

Watch for the big suits, rewatch for no reason at all.
