    Minions: The Rise of Gru

I told myself that if Minions: Rise of Gru made me laugh, I would not be able to give this movie less than 3 stars.

It made me laugh in the opening credits.

Sure the movie is at times overwhelmingly chaotic with a paper thin plot, but there’s genuine moments of hilarity that I ultimately didn’t hate my time with the movie.

In a world where Netflix puts out Marmaduke, I happily embrace Minions: Rise of Gru.
