    Baby Amy Adams!!!!

Ok so is it not funny that Alison Janney wins an Oscar for playing this same part.

Who doesn't love a mockumentary? This doesn't age the best in certain aspects but holy shizz this has such a killer cast and great one-liners

  • While We're Young

    While We're Young

A mid-life crisis dramedy movie about the the fight between the apollonian artistic drive vs. the dionysian artistic drive while also commenting on objectivism, realism, and narrative with an eisenstein name drop....

Yeah, I'm glad I took that film theory class in college so I could understand this better.

  • Malignant

This was too goofy to be scary but, honestly, that is why I lowkey kinda loved it.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings

Ok I know 4 stars is a lot and I know I wouldn't be rating it this high if I had not seen this in theatres, but I had a great time watching it.

Like, it's hard to let the critiques that I have with the movie dissuade me from liking it and the characters.

Also, having a bomb cast helps a lot

  • Those Who Wish Me Dead

    Those Who Wish Me Dead

Eh... it has its moments, but as a cohesive film... it doesn't all add up to something great.

I like that the henchmen were professional af and the action scenes were pretty slick but that poor child... i just didn't think he gave a good performance. 🙃

    Hush... Hush, Sweet Charlotte

Ok, the first half is dreadfully boring/I wasn't vibing with it, but oh boy that second half better work bitch!

Olivia de Havilland and Agnes Morehead are sooooooo good and juicy in the second half.

Obvi I was #teammiriam but alas... twas not meant to be I guess.

  • 1922

Ok, for this little-above-average Tell-Tale Heart story, the cinematography is way better than it has any right to be.

  • Scream

Lol damn this sure is meta.

Ok, see, because I have seen Scary Movie I was thinking the whole time that the killer was Dewey so the reveal got me.

Matthew Lillard has to be one of the most expressive actors ever, right?

Neve is great and I can't believe that my intro to her was season 4 of House of Cards lol.

Glad to finally check this off the list.

  • Candyman

Pretentious art critics listening to Fiona Apple is pretty great!.

I liked this and maybe I'm an idiot but I thought this was a sequel and not a remake because it added more to the Candyman story and did good at building off the original.

    Also, ... Vanessa Williams... stun

  • Casablanca

Ok google, play "Of All The Gin Joints In All The World" by Fall Out Boy.

Also, this should be remade with a polyamorous ending
