a master at the peak of her craft. barbra's vocals and expressive abilities on display are, as always, marvelous and, as always, a guiding force of the film. hard to think of another man who has ever been as hot in a movie as mandy patinkin is as avigdor. the pursuit of religious intellectualism as a freeing rather than confining route, the transgression of gender as a path to the redeeming power of love ....... nothing's impossible!!!!!!
