Watched this for my Intro To Cinema Studies 2 class and it's the exact noir film I was hoping we'd get to see. The shadowplay, the snappy dilaogue, the cynical nature, the sense of lost-time through the narrative structure and the femme fatale. This movie has all the lovely film noir tropes you expect and through Wilder's seemingly effortlessly ability to create tension, it's able to become a thrilling and gripping experience.
