Licorice Pizza 2021
As a child of the Valley this one hits hard. PTA’s most purely joyous, funny work. You can really feel the influence of Jonathan Demme seeping through in its warmth and humanity, but it’s also clearly a PTA film through and through - his style is effortless at this point.
