I always wonder, how a Michael Mann comic book film will look like, well, I wonder no more! Thanks to Christopher Nolan I know how bad-ass a Mann comic-book film looks like!

The Dark Knight is ridiculously tense and fun to watch, the battle between Batman and Joker is like watching an immovable object vs unstoppable force, is a phenomenal game of cat and mouse with two iconic characters, kinda like De Niro and Pacino in Michael's Mann's Heat.

The Dark Knight is an outstanding interpretation of the cape crusader, that rewards with every re-watch, yes it has flaws but the ride is so good, I don't mind. The best Batman film ever? no, but close enough.
