Javier’s review published on Letterboxd:
The Lubitsch touch at its best. There's a dreaminess to the way it's put together, from the faintly surreal editing and plotting to the acting to the charmingly thoughtless tone. Dreamily amoral too (pre-Code), it makes wit sensual and sex clever. Lubitsch had the best sense of humor of anyone in Hollywood. None of his imitators had his gift for levity. This is probably the least literal sex comedy I've ever seen—astonishingly elegant.
