JR’s review published on Letterboxd:
Even by experimental standards this will make your head hurt; you can’t take anything for granted when every single cut rewrites the rules of reality. It eludes, frustrates and teases, giving you a helping hand only to yank it away, circling back in a downward spiral only to reveal there’s no bottom to hit. Obviously, it’s more something to study intently than something you get swept up in, but after it’s ended - if such an open-ended film can ever truly end - you come back to the world with a thoroughly refreshed third eye. Besides, it’s not like there are no surface pleasures; name another movie whose style is this seductive while staying cold to the touch.
