JR’s review published on Letterboxd:
Shout Out to the woman at Syndicated who acted as if everyone came to hear her drunken MST3K-ing instead of, you know, watching this movie. You are, no exaggeration, the worst audience member I've ever encountered.
The movie's still too long and still too self-consciously enamored with its own pageantry, but the new footage ties the cult and breakup threads together much more strongly. This feels like a unified whole, as opposed to two plots forcibly joined at the hip.
I want every line of Will Poulter's dialogue on a mug.
