So much to say but I just remembered the film isn’t technically out yet haha. But to keep it brief, I really dug it! Not a single poor performance in sight and from the word go, Reeves brings his inspirations from films such as Chinatown to the forefront and delivers the genuinely well crafted detective story that cinematic B-Man has been without for so long.
I’ll be seeing it again real soon so I can develop my thoughts more and sure I still do have my issues with it (particularly the score and dialogue in some places), but man, some good stuff here :)
