    The Godfather: Part II

    β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜…

This film proved everyone wrong who thought a sequel can't be as good as the original.

'The Godfather II' is a brilliant sequel/prequel to the Masterpiece that was 'The Godfather'. Not only the stacks were higher this time, the scale and ambition of storytelling had also improved. From Acting, Directing, Writing etc everything felt like it surpassed the bar they set in the last film.

Everything I loved about the first instalment of this trilogy was here, and with that,…

But anyway, talking about the film. 'The Straight Story' - It's exactly that, because not only…

    Blue Velvet

So now next in My David Lynch's marathon was 'Blue Velvet'. And after going in a quite linear direction with a film like 'The Elephant Man'. Now I am back again to 'Lynchian Cinema'.

Blue Velvet might be the perfect film to introduce someone to David Lynch's Cinema. As it is a film that perfectly blends nightmarish nature of his later work with a more conventional setting of his films like 'The Elephant Man' and 'The Straight Story'.

    Here he…
