episode 9 //
WHEN WANDA CREATED THE ICONIC SCARLET WITCH COSTUME OH MY FUCKING GOD I AM GOING FERAL!!!
some people will be disappointed by the finale but thats entirely on them because ive seen so many people not just running rampant with fan theories but actually completey believing they were going to happen and then get mad because they set themselves up like clowns.
at the end of the day, this show was never about the mcu introducing the fantastic four or mutants. it was about wanda. it was about her dealing with her grief, trauma, depression and anger. and i just think it was all done so fucking well. as someone with depression, like many others on here, it was nice to see a superhero deal and process theirs for a change.
the witch fight between wanda and agatha was fucking chef’s kiss, i really hope we get more from agatha. and that foreshadowing she told wanda about what she’s unleashed? yeah, chaos is coming in DS2. and that post credits scene!!!! if you want my two cents, i think it was wanda literally scouring the multiverse to find other versions of her children. she’s gonna fuck it up next year, and im ready!!
also the mid-credit scene!!! holy shit!! i think monica might also be in the secret invasion series as well given how the skrull said ‘he’. like we know you mean nick fury, he’s recruiting monica!
overall, this series was my second most anticipated phase four project, behind black widow, and to me, i was never disappointed. i love it so much and im so grateful we got wanda at the front and centre of her own production. i hope that after DS2, she becomes a much more prominent character going forward! manifesting that monica and carol ask her to help out in captain marvel 2!
