Hilarious and chilling. Incredible acting--a daring stratification of styles and tones. Keoghan gives one of the most compelling performances I have ever seen. The wide-angle cinematography finds genuinely new images in its expansive, distorted representation of hospital corridors and sterile, distended McMansion banality--almost replicating the spatial logic of the architecture. I hope Lanthimos keeps going this way and never returns to the goth kid-Wes Anderson mediocrity of THE LOBSTER.

Angelopoulos movies always have about 5 jaw-dropping shots/scenes, but they never really hang together for me. Just feels like hit-or-miss set pieces spaced out with dull filler.

A fucking masterpiece of the highest order. Immediate all-time Top 10 status. Denis in prime form. Godard cements herself as the greatest active cinematographer we have. Performances are touching, subtle, and immaculate. Astounding to me that I waited this long to see it. Wow wow wow wow.
