Bwaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh - Hans Zimmer
I fuckin love a Denis Villneuve movie. Big BIG BIG. Not a single expense was spared. He truly knows how to make a movie. He is a modern master of filmmaking. The cinematography was fuckin eye candy. Every single performance was impeccable on top of that.
The score is some of Hans’ best work in a long time. I feel like he stopped writing melodies after 2005, but this felt like a nice return to his earlier melodic work, with the crazy sonic innovation he’s been up to lately.
My only complaint is that this movie just kind of ends and that’s that. I think the addition of Dune 2, this movie will grow even stronger.
